My daughter LOVES to play doctor and my dad is a retired doctor, so I’ve been looking forward to this day!

I covered the table in my son’s white bedsheets and laid out Lydia’s doctor toys around our first patient.

I added a few new supplies too. I made a couple of felt bandaids with scissors and a Sharpie. (There are fancier ones on Pinterest for those of you who sew!)

Then I sorted out all our mini pom poms and put them is a cool jar that I’ve been saving for just the right project. I thought about using jelly beans, but I’ve always been nervous about ever pretending that candy might be medicine—or vice versa. 😬 The poms we’re perfect for our stuffed friends though!

I pulled out our dry erase board and made a patient medical record form to use with dry erase markers… then realized we didn’t have any dry erase markers. 😅 So I left notes on them saying that we’d get special markers for them when we were out later today picking up our groceries.

Finally, I made some name tags, and laid out the new masks my aunt made for the kids.

I’m pretty sure these new additions were worth the extra effort and will get played with many times over!
